Does Sway work with my system?
Yes, SWAY can be made to work with any system! Out of the box SWAY comes with a NMEA 2000 connector. This will work with any modern NMEA network. Brands who use the standard NMEA 2000 connectors are Garmin, Simrad and B&G. Raymarine has created their own NMEA2000 connection standard called SeaTalkNG. If you have a Raymarine system please select the SeaTalk converter cable at checkout. If you have an older system that still uses NMEA0183 you will need a NMEA0183 to NMEA2000 converter, these can be bought from Raymarine or other suppliers.

Heb ik een internet- of wifi-verbinding aan boord nodig?
Nee, tijdens het zeilen kun je zo lang offline zijn als je wilt. De Breeze kan tot een jaar aan data opslaan in het interne geheugen. Je kunt synchroniseren zodra je weer binnen Wi-Fi of 4G-bereik bent.
Past SWAY op mijn schip?
De meeste navigatie-instrumenten gebruiken al 15 jaar een NMEA 2000-compatibele backbone. Soms heeft u een converter kabel nodig. Neem contact met ons op als u het niet zeker weet.
Welke gegevens verzamelt SWAY?
Kortom: alle bruikbare gegevens. We lezen alle gegevens van uw bootnetwerk en slaan alles op wat we nuttig achten om een gedetailleerd reisverslag te maken.
Specifiek slaan we op: snelheid, GPS-coördinaten, windrichting, koers, etc.
Kan ik de SWAY gebruiken zonder de app?
Ja, u kunt de SWAY zonder de app gebruiken als u hem alleen wilt gebruiken om uw instrumenten te verbinden met uw navigatie-apps.
Kan de SWAY-app werken zonder SWAY?
Je kunt de SWAY-app gratis installeren en gebruiken. Je kunt andere gebruikers volgen en bekijken. Zonder de SWAY-app zie je geen scheepsgegevens zoals snelheid, positie, diepte, enzovoort.
