Does Sway work with my system?
Yes, SWAY can be made to work with any system! Out of the box SWAY comes with a NMEA 2000 connector. This will work with any modern NMEA network. Brands who use the standard NMEA 2000 connectors are Garmin, Simrad and B&G. Raymarine has created their own NMEA2000 connection standard called SeaTalkNG. If you have a Raymarine system please select the SeaTalk converter cable at checkout. If you have an older system that still uses NMEA0183 you will need a NMEA0183 to NMEA2000 converter, these can be bought from Raymarine or other suppliers.

FAQs
Do I need internet or Wi-Fi connection on board?
No, during sailing you can be offline for as long as you want. The Breeze can store up to one year of data in its internal memory. You can sync when you are back within wifi or 4G range.
Does SWAY fit on my ship?
Most navigation instruments use an NMEA2000 compatible backbone since 15 years. Sometimes you need a converter cable. Contact us if you are unsure.
What data will the SWAY capture?
In essence: all usable data. We read all data on your boatnetwork and store everything that we consider to be useful to create a detailed trip replay.
More specifically, we store: speed, GPS coordinates, wind direction, course, etc.
Can I use the SWAY without the app?
Yes you can use the SWAY without the app if you just want to use it to connect your instruments to your navigation apps.
Can the SWAY app work without the SWAY?
You can install and use the SWAY app for free. You can follow and see other users. Without the SWAY you will not see the ship's data such as speed, position, depth, etc.
